Light and Lines
Light and Lines actually consisted of almost 150 photographs of the light as it moved across this parking lot in Calgary. This process was a small experiment with light, geometry and time. I included this single photo from this project in Canada Series 1 Fine Art Photography, because not only did that moment catch my eye but I wanted to reflect on my own sense of what Calgary means. Initially it comes off as a hard-place filled with cowboys, trucks, and an unsettling amount of firearms. Spending some time there though I have to remember I found this moment of inspiration to just stay and play with light and shadows. Every place has the potential for magic.
